Pascale
Your background?
Although I was introduced to sewing at a very early age, I worked as a sales assistant for 6 years before deciding to shake things up by taking an on-the-job sewing and pattern-making course. What I considered a hobby quickly became a real passion and, in 2012, I launched my clothing brand. It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I joined the Labo team at the beginning of 2019.
What are you making in the Lab?
No two days are the same, and the activities are very varied. Along with my colleagues, I work on developing and preparing the production of RE/Labo and Laboratoi/RE pieces, a production that is now done entirely in our workshop. Creating with what already exists requires a lot of preparation and reflection, but it is also very interesting. I also handle sales, contacts with the labels we sell, and social media.
What do you enjoy doing when you have time off?
I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors, in the forest, in the mountains or by the lake with my family. I still enjoy reading and listening to podcasts with an Ayurvedic “IF” herbal tea. I also spend time in my sewing studio; sewing has a meditative and restorative effect.
Places where you like to spend time?
the forest, bookstores, by the water, my sewing workshop, the cinema.
